So ... I am back to this topic. It's been already ten weeks .... wow ;;
I said, I am reader as a writer in beginning of this quoter. I think I am still reader but with some different aspects now. This blog helped to identify my identity; teen-ager savvy(according to West haha;). And I feel like I applied this identity to my essay without noticing.
I focused on fluency of essay most in this quoter. Before this class, I paragraphs were never connected and and changed my thoughts about sentence little bit. I was usually think "Is this sentence make sense? " but now it's more like "is this sentence tells people what I want to tell?" I still have little hard time with last part but ... I think I can handle it better

SLO Reflection: Critical Thinking and Writing
Let's see .... It's been almost 3 month since I took the college academic writing. This class was like way beyond my level but I had to take it ....( I thought all I have to take is math and science when I come to college .... but I guess not !!!).
ANYWAY! critical think skill was like second hardest thing for me to do in English because every time I read something or try to do something, I wasn't sure that I'm understanding concepts or texts well. I was think I am translate it to some wrong way. That's way I was had to make sure what I'm thinking is right or not. But after understand what the things are about then I got some critical skill !!! Like the book "Blogging", I was sure it was actually talking about blog itself !! Actually I wasn't even sure this course is all about blog just from description of blogging ....
Okay,,, now writing ... I HATE IT WITH MY PASSION. It's not that I'm don't like it I just can't write!! But at least as much as I'm writing essay, I'm getting better I think. I just have a lot (I mean A LOT) of problems with grammar. I really want to write a good paper though.

SLO Reflection: Close Reading and Research
Since I can to this class, I had to read some books and articles. For me, English is secondary language so it was almost impossible to understand the book or article without close reading. Close reading helps me to understand faster and better. Like West's article, it would been impossible for me to understand before the class if I didn't know how to do close reading.I think I can use my close reading skill now throughout the whole college life.
There was so many database I could use from library website. I remember when I do research paper in English class at high school that English teacher told me there is going to be way more data to use in college for my paper. And also it's easier!! The core lab and library helped me how to research and that's why I was able to find source for my paper easier.

Performance, Feedback, Revision!
The guy talked about revision by compare it with revolution. Quite a impactive performance he had; it influences me to revise my paper. I was so worried about my paper but I guess I can write it, get feedback, and rewrite it. Performance(draft) -> feedback(Riki) -> revision(re-write) and I will eventually get to the point every my paper is revolutionized(?). So revision is the steps that will get me to the higher level. One think that sucks is that I can't get bunch of (like 100 of) feedbacks ....

Essay2 Progress
So far, I made some changes. First of all, I changed my option from option2 to option1. I couldn't find the best blog the fit on my essay and I was just wonder around my blog and realize it was kinda fit in with my essay so gave a shot. Maybe the reader for my reader's review may got confused on that ,,,(sorry). It's only three pages long so far but I think I can make it long as times go by.
I'm not sure I'm at right on the point on my essay, feels like I'm writing about different thesis or topic ..... (Hope not !!). My focus is what type of blog I have or blogger am I. Tried to find my one identity.

My plan for Essay 2
My planing to compare my article writer's experiences and my experiences with the blog. Also I need to analyse "what is blog" more deeper to make more argument and explanation. But I'm struggling with choosing a blog and understanding the articles and plot for the essay well enough.

The Essay 2 and Article
On school library database, I was able to fine the article that might help on writing my Essay 2.
The article is: " Understanding class blogs as a tool for language development" by Doris de Almeida Soares. The author was a teacher for the EFL students in a language school in Brazil and while he(or she) teaching those students, he got the two major questions; "a) did my students see our blog as a learning tool? and b) what was blogging like in other language teaching contexts?" This article starts off from the brief history of blog and all the way to answer those two questions. And the articles are based on his(or her) experiences with blogs and the students he had.
I'm going to focus more on the article about first question to identify the blog and the writer of blog. And this article is talking about usage of blog that we are doing in class right now so I thought it would be make me little easier.

Essay 2
For this Essay 2, arguing with West, I want to combine option 1 and option 2. I'm not sure I am allow to do this. The prompt of this essay says "you will join the conversation by developing an argument in response to West", so I guess I am going to go against her idea to make conversation. I got a quite few ideas and looks like I can do better job on this then Essay 1(I hope).
That was my plan about this essay but since I can't fine any article about "blog actually doesn't help on English class" I have to change my mine. I'm going to look for the true meaning of the blog and classes.

* I was not able to get in to Helping hand out: 3 step Quotation Analysis. It says "You do not have permission to access this workspace."
According to Wes't article "Weblogs and literary response: Socially situated identities and hybrid social languages in English class blogs", the teacher, West, was trying to engage the literature with blogging by making students more interested. She said there no formal way or and rules about writing articles on the blogs. But from my experiences, I can't write informal articles because the thought of the fact that teacher is going to see the article and will give a bad grade on it.
And as I read though this journal, it was more like teacher was not focusing on the class matter (like the reading journal they have to do about Crucible), but focusing more on the identities of the students. And this whole process may apply on the students who are actually knows and interested on the blog. Because of the literature's tedium(it doesn't mean i'm bored of it !!!), it may leads up to the thought of "Blog is boring" to some other students.
Still, she says the blog shows people can see the direct identity through the blogs. And West divided the identity of her students to two big chunk, “serious literature students” and “Webliterate communicators". According to West's data, thorough the digital langues on blog, most of students uses the good terms of literary response in these entries.
I was surprised that teacher actually got the result she expected from the blog entires with digital languages. I wish I am doing right things right now !!

What did I learn from my Essay 1
There is one thing I learned is ..... I suck at writing !!!!
ANYWAY ~
I'd like to write my essay from brainstorm then draft, another draft, and more draft, any maybe final if I have to....
And for my writing habit, I love to write my paper at late in the night, like 2-4 a.m. after I take a nap. so ... basically I sleep right after dinner and wake up at like 1 or 2 o'clock and start writing. I just like to write when it's quite around me.
For my writing, I like the writing conference we had with group and Riki. I got the idea that I was on right track. I think that's the one helped me most!!

The writing processes ...
We started from looking for blog which is going to be our resource through out the essay. Based on the research we did presentation of how far we are on paper. And combine all together to write first draft!!
The whole processes of this essay was very organized and step by step. I liked it because I was actually able to follow the orders. I think looking for right blog was hardest part of the whole essay maybe because it was the beginning process of the essay. Presentation went okay with me but I was very short on writing draft(include the very first one). Didn't have enough time to write an essay since I am very slow starter. I just wish we had more times and would've write way better essay.

They say, I say
This book was talking about a lot of arguments. Like templates I saw in the book so I can use those templates so make my arguments better in my paper. And it also helped me how other are thinking and going to count back at me with my paper which means I can see the other people's point of view. I think other people's point of views are really important since others are the one who read my paper.

Reflect on my presentation.
Before I go in front of whole class, I thought I was going to do really good on my presentation. But as soon as I face my audience, I suddenly got nervous and rushed through all the presentation and end up short on it ( I think I am the shortest through out the whole class).
Still I think I did good on pointing out my topic(thesis), and support it with examples I have. As Rikki said, I need to get more examples!!
I'm considering to make my thesis stronger, so readers can get it right at the thesis.

Identify a section from Blogging
The fact that people unknown to one another could now read the same text allowed for a new kind of impersonal connection between people (40). This part of sentence really came to me. Who would thought about we can talk about game all over the world? It does not directly relate to my essay but I think it does relate some how (maybe relates to everyone in our class). Blog is just fascinating way to communicate each other and we can communicate on every different topic we want. Maybe this sentence is to general to tell that it relates to my essay still I like this sentence from book.
What changes do you intend to make to your essay based on feedback in the writing conference
I better change my essay better by show my analysis of my topic which is all the gamers like to talk about what they want. First of all I better make my thesis more outstanding. I just glad I'm on the topic though, I was worrying that I might not understanding the topic well. I think I start off pretty in good shape, but still I have to move around or change those histories I have in beginning of the paper. The history about blog and game push my analysis of thesis too much. I had hard time finding examples because I support my thesis with just atmosphere of article and blog, need to fine confident examples on the paper.

Kottke explained that he was asking regular readers to become 'micropatrons' of the site by contributing a small donation (Rettberg 136). So Kottke is basically going around in blog asking readers to learn the ways of micropatrons by creating small donation. Actually it was the great idea, but it was risky because he has to quit his job and tried a brand new exercise which was never done before. It was obvious that he could not get‘big’ patrons from ‘big’ sponsors Furthermore, micopatrons shows plenty of ‘micro’ are totally able to turn in to ‘mega’. One little thing can turns into something bigger than previous one. His challenge was hazardous but affective same time. It shows internet, especially blog in this case, can be transforms to something more than just social chatting or sharing thought space. He even has to quit his job to keep up his blog going. There is more than just one possibility for everything, we just need to look around little bit more.

My interest is ....
I have many interests, music, art, basketball etc., but I think the thing I most interest in is video or pc games. I play games all the time and lately the newest game, StarCraft II, caught my attention. I just love it ! There is StarCraft I which I played about 8 years, it never get old. To get the information to get information about things I'm interested, I'd like to study on personal and topical blogs.

"Who am I ? as a writer...."
While I am writing, I usually think of people who are going to read my paper and I just write the chunk and fix it from the very beginning.
If I have to create the brand new story (or any writing work) I really shouldn't do something like that. I am excellent person who can create story with the background that has been already set up but creating something out of nothing, I can't do that.
I don't like writing since I can't write well....
I'd love it if I can write better, but it's hard to me.
Well... I can try again!
